The Role

This 2-year paid Graduate Programme is perfect for an enthusiastic individual looking to build and develop a career in IT. The first 5 Months will be spent in a variety of key business areas, gaining an overview of the whole Company.

You will then become a member of a small IT team with a wide spectrum of responsibility and involvement. The role will provide first line technical support to internal staff and assist with new and ongoing IT projects as well as supporting remote workers to use hardware and software systems. Throughout the programme you'll learn more about your strengths and get valuable support from experienced colleagues to grow and build on your potential, ultimately working towards a continued role in CAD-IT.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Progress IT support calls, ensuring responses are within SLA guidelines.
  • Assist in building and maintaining hardware and software assets.
  • Maintaining hardware and applications/systems.
  • Conduct analysis, diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware issues.
  • Support in the maintenance of data and its security.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all Stakeholders.
  • Escalate any potential issues.
  • Assist in IT projects as required.
  • Liaise with other internal and external technical support teams.
  • Maintain hardware asset and security.
  • Order replacement equipment and control all consumables required for daily operational use.

Person Specification

  • BTEC, DIPLOMA, Advanced Apprenticeship, IT degree or equivalent.
  • Experience of IT hardware fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Operating systems.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery systems and technologies.
  • Ability to install and configure software applications and programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of VMWare or equivalent virtualisation technology an advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of own professional development.

We are looking for Mechanical / Automotive Engineers or Technicians to become part of an established team in
an Upstream Service environment at a major OEM. This opportunity is a perfect entry level role for graduate

Role Details:

  • Representing the Service organisation to the design engineering communities and project-managing
    serviceability participation in the product development lifecycle.
  • Benchmarking of competitors for serviceability and cost of ownership.

  • Prior experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles and internal combustion engines would be
    highly beneficial! For example inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safety.
  • Knowledge of Hybrid, EV and ICE automotive components.
  • Analytical skills and experience of troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills are essential – you’ll be working directly with our
    customers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include working with the project team during requirement capture and design, and delivering cost effective, supportable technical application solutions that meet the business’s needs.
