We are presently seeking a Senior Teamcenter Consultant to join our global Services Team providing cutting edge expertise in service lifecycle management (SLM), technical publications solutions and content creation, working across a wide variety of industrial sectors including Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Rail and Heavy Industry.
We will train the successful candidate to be a subject matter expert for SLM in Teamcenter, however experience of using Siemens Teamcenter or other PLM tools, from administration, configuration, development and upgrades prospective is needed. You must be a competent industry professional, able to support our global customers by delivering a variety of services.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include working with the project team during requirement capture and design, and delivering cost effective, supportable technical application solutions that meet the business’s needs.
You will be required to:
- Configure applications based on requirements and designs captured by the solution architecture team
- You will be required to:
- Analyse current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve the solutions we deliver including:
- PLM and Content Management Systems
- Publishing solutions – IETP, Web Portals
- Augmented Reality
- Advanced Diagnostics
- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed solutions
- Provide detailed design and specifications for proposed solutions
- Account for possible project challenges on constraints including risks, time, resource and scope
- Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
Essential Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have most of the following skills and experience:
- Strong working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter interface and/or other enterprise content management solutions
- Experience in working with and knowledge of S1000D and DITA
- Working knowledge of PLM implementations
- Experience in configuring Teamcenter
- Experience of Information Systems and Server/Client Infrastructure
- Test automation coding and setup
- Experience of supporting software implementations and upgrades
- Excellent communication skills
- Good Windows server/client skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
- Experience in software engineering and design architecture
- Fluent in English language
