Software Sales/Business Development Executive - Germany

In order to build upon this success and our growing business, we require a proven Sales and Business Development professional who can add significant value to the operation through software and solution sales.

Expectations & measures of success in this role

The Sales/Business Development professional will take ownership of their territory and proactively deliver on sales and business development KPIs

You will develop current relationships, expand sales and develop new opportunities. You should possess high intellectual curiosity with the drive and initiative to be a self-starter. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be experienced at tailoring approach and messaging to customers and situation.

  • High value business development: winning enterprise level and significant value business to ensure the continued development of our market share in the region
  • Partnering for success: working closely with the Siemens account teams to co-sell into existing Siemens accounts.
  • Pro-active sales activities of AR, SLM and PLM products and services:

o seeking out & winning business from new and existing clients
o developing key accounts
o organizing events and promoting CAD-IT at conferences, trade shows and Siemens events.

  • Ensuring excellent customer care and service through the presentation of products to new & existing clients and interested parties.
  • Identifying, suggesting and facilitating any necessary changes or strategic redirection to ensure the success of our operations and business development
  • Project planning and managing of resources: ensuring both client expectations are met (or exceeded) and company efficiency and targets are achieved.
  • Regular reporting of the regional marketplace, including competitor updates and analysis.
  • Supporting the preparation of product presentations.
  • Close co-operation with the executive management.
  • Awareness and co-operation with other areas of the Group.
  • Additional tasks as issued by the management. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experienced Business Developer within PLM, AR or SLM related field
  • Must have enterprise level sales experience
  • A process oriented, consultative sales approach
  • Experienced in managing a sales operation would be beneficial
  • Structured and focused on operation methods as well as a strong strategic business understanding
  • Target oriented and proven record of success in generating new business
  • Native or fluent German speaker

The position directly reports to the CAD-IT executive management. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Routine status reporting
  • Reliable sales forecasting

AMM & IPC Author

AMM & IPC Author

Based at our Customer site in North Carolina USA.

Salary: TBA dependent on experience.

CAD-IT Inc are looking to fill an AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) and IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue) Authoring/Illustrator role. The role will be based at a customer facility in North Carolina, USA on a permanent basis and will include working on various projects, encompassing multiple industries, but primarily within Aerospace.

The desired candidate will have had previous technical authoring experience in the aerospace industry to join the current team and become involved in developing, writing, and delivering 3D and 2D technical content from client source data:

Expectations of this role

As an AMM & IPC Author your primary role will be the authoring of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogues, however other authoring deliverables (across multiple industries) may also be required.

A flexible and dynamic attitude to the tasks assigned will be a key attribute using both Plain English and Simplified Technical English (STE) for all procedural and descriptive documents. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex topics and deliver them in an easily understood and unambiguous way. You will need to write in an appropriate style depending on the intended audience for example: Technicians, Dealers, customers, or staff. There will be an element of travel and some extended remote training on a customer site for familiarisation and project setup. The ability to multitask and balance priorities is desirable as these can change frequently.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of authoring in an Aerospace environment.
  • ATA, S1000D and associated Aerospace standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word (using document templates and styles).
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel (using macros, pivot tables and concatenation).
  • An eye for detail and accuracy in both writing, document formatting and layout.
  • Write in a ‘tone’ for the target audience.
  • Good communication skills at all business levels from directors to technical subject matter experts within a global company.
  • Strong personal skills, able to work individually and/or within a team with the ability to challenge and validate source data.
  • Produce technical documentation from various data sources.
  • Strong engineering knowledge with the ability to read and understand technical drawings, engineering processes and liaise with engineering personnel.
  • A good understanding of appropriate behaviour in a customer-facing environment.

Desired but not essential:

  • Knowledge of Cortona Rapid Author would be highly beneficial.
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • XMetaL or other relevant tools
  • Experience with 3D Modelling software.
  • Knowledge of HTML and web editing.
  • Graphics knowledge using Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of commercial print processes and dealing with printing companies.
  • Knowledge of translation processes using external agencies and working with translated documents.

Tasks

 

  • Produce and maintain Illustrated Parts Catalogues which will be used by client worldwide networks.
  • Communicate with product development teams and customer Technical Publications teams when issues arise to validate assumptions and obtain information that is not present within databases. This requires excellent people skills, and good written English for email communication.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Manual Procedures: Authoring procedures and using CAD modelled graphics to develop timely Aircraft Maintenance Manual procedures.
  • Other Documentation: All other ‘ad-hoc’ publications, as necessary. For example:

 

    • Work instructions
    • Kit installation instructions
    • Equipment operating instructions
    • Diagnostic procedures
    • Form design, etc.

 

 

Teamcenter Implementation Consultant - USA

Location: USA (Ideally North Carolina but remote working is available)

You will be reporting directly to our Teamcenter Solutions Architect, and will join a team who provide cutting edge expertise in Service Lifecycle Management, technical publications solutions and content creation, working across a wide variety of industrial sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Rail and Heavy Industry.

CAD-IT is a global dynamic software sales and consulting company focusing primarily on industrial aftermarket, Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) and Augmented Reality application in Service.  We are global partners with Siemens PLM, Cortona3D, CaseBank Technologies and Re’Flekt.

The successful candidate will be trained to be a subject matter expert in Siemens Teamcenter. You need to have experience of using the Siemens Teamcenter tools, from administration, configuration, development and upgrades prospective. You must be a competent industry professional, able to support our Teamcenter Solutions Architect and our global customers by delivering a variety of services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include working with the project team during requirement capturing, and delivering cost effective, supportable technical application solutions that meet the business’s needs.  Configuring the applications based on requirements and designs captured by the solution architects. Managing workload working across multiple projects.
