Expectations & measures of success in this role: 

  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking to seek out and win business from new clients. 
  • You should possess high intellectual curiosity with the drive and initiative to be a self-starter. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be experienced at tailoring approach and messaging to customers and situation. 
  • Represent the customers interests internally and manage customer expectations in conjunction with delivery capabilities to ensure a smooth customer experience and high degree of engagement 
  • High value business development: winning enterprise level and significant value business to ensure the continued development of our market share in the region  
  • Own the full Sales lifecycle at the customer and be the primary point of contact and escalation for the customer. 
  • Pro-active sales activities of SLM and PLM products and services:  
  • searching for and developing key accounts 
  • participate in the organising events and promoting CAD-IT at conferences, trade shows and Siemens events. 
  • ensuring excellent customer care and service through the presentation of products to new clients and interested parties. 
  • Identifying, suggesting and facilitating any necessary changes or strategic redirection to ensure the success of our Sales operations  
  • Project planning and managing of resources: ensuring both client expectations are met (or exceeded) and company efficiency and targets are achieved. 
  • Regular reporting of the regional marketplace, including competitor updates and analysis.  
  • Supporting the preparation of product presentations.  
  • Close co-operation with the executive management.  
  • Awareness and co-operation with other areas of the Group.  
  • Additional tasks as issued by management.  

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Enterprise consultative sales experience is essential 
  • Experience working directly and indirectly through partners to acquire, close and support joint accounts; exposure to Siemens partnering preferred 
  • Technical software background, preferred in the PLM or Manufacturing space (Automation/IoT) or both. 
  • Expert understanding of the sales qualification process 
  • Demonstrable understanding of the closing process 
  • Experience and understanding of complex enterprise software solutions 
  • A process oriented, consultative sales approach – but not afraid to think outside the box 
  • Structured and focused on operation methods as well as a strong strategic business understanding 
  • Target oriented and proven record of success in generating new business 
  • Innovative and motivating with excellent communication skills 
  • Have a passion for selling 

The position directly reports to the CAD-IT senior management. Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Routine status reporting  
  • Reliable sales forecasting
